Senator I. D. Gyang has received the news of the demise of Ngo Na’omi Jugu popularised by the people as Delo Berom, with deep sense of loss but comforted by her ebullient, people-friendly, eventful and impactful life.
The Senator says she lived her life seeking the good of the land and people and became one of the most celebrated presidents of Berom Women Association.
She was given to philanthropy and hospitality and a recipient of many awards and commendations in acknowledgement and recognition of her service to humanity.
Senator Gyang says Ngo Na’omi sought and worked for the progress of many and was not threatened by their eventual success but rather celebrated their rising. She was a mother indeed.
At one time she gave her personal residence for the take-off of a church in her neighborhood as a mark of her love and service to God.
Senator Gyang expresses his condolence to the immediate family, the Berom nation, and members of the many organizations she served in diverse capacities and eulogized her for the many commendable accomplishments on her earthly sojourn.
May the Lord accord her mercy and grant her soul eternal rest, amen.
