Senator I. D. Gyang joins Hon. Beni Lar to celebrate our dear Mummy Prof. Mary Lar as she marks 86 years of age.

The Senator recalls that our dear mummy is part of the enviable legacies of our late father, leader and elder statesman, the famed Baba S. D. Lar, the Emancipator.

Mama Prof. Lar is a renowned scholar of international standing, academic excellence and attaining the height of Professorship, something that was very rare in all of Northern Nigeria at a time when girl child education was unheard of.

As we celebrate Mama for attaining the good age of 86, Senator Gyang singles out an area of her life impact that deserves special mention and commendation, which is the promotion of Nomadic Education which she spearheaded as a pet project. This was a bold initiative that created a platform to school and culture children of herdsmen.

Senator Gyang and the good people of Plateau North celebrate Mama Prof. Lar at age 86 and pray God to add health to her days and sustained grace of motherhood.
