Former Senate Minority Leader and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senate Candidate for Plateau North, Sen. Simon Mwadkwon, PhD, has felicitated with former Governor of Plateau State and former Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, His Excellency, Sen. Joshua Chibi Dariye, PhD, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a goodwill message, Mwadkwon described Dariye as an accomplished statesman whose remarkable contributions to Plateau State, the accounting profession, education, human capital development, democratic governance, and nation-building have left an enduring legacy.

He commended the former Governor’s philanthropic disposition, generosity, and commitment to the welfare of humanity, noting that his positive impact on countless lives has earned him widespread admiration and the affectionate nickname, “Headboy.”

The former Senate Minority Leader further praised Dariye’s unwavering commitment to the peace, unity, and development of Plateau State, saying his years of public service as Governor of Plateau State from 1999 to 2007 and later as Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District from 2011 to 2019 were marked by purposeful leadership and the execution of numerous people-oriented projects and developmental initiatives.

Mwadkwon stated that the celebrant’s wealth of experience, wise counsel, and dedication to public service continue to inspire leaders and citizens alike, describing him as a patriotic leader whose contributions to the growth and progress of Plateau State and Nigeria remain invaluable.
