The Senator representing Plateau North constituency, Sen. GNS Pwajok has offered his condolences to the families of Sen. John Wash Pam and retired Col. John Dungs in the wake of the sudden death of the 2 prominent sons of the state.
Sen. Wash Pam, a second republic deputy senate president from 1979- 1983, hailed from Foron in Barkin Ladi, LGA, died on Thursday after suffering from prostrate cancer at the age of 73, while Col. Dungs, a former military administrator in Delta state and a business man, hails from Riyom in Riyom LGA, died on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 64.

In a statement released to newsmen by the media aide to Sen. Pwajok, Mr. Chuwang Dung, says his principal was shocked went he received the tragic news, saying their departure is a great loss to the state and the nation at large.
He then commiserates with the government and people of Plateau State over the loss of this illustrious sons who he said contributed immensely in the political and economic development of the state.
He said the late senator was a spectacular charismatic politician whose example of political courage, kindness and humility influenced his own life and the lives of many Nigerians. “The impact of Senator Wash Pam cannot be under estimated in the politics of Plateau and the entire country and apparently, his role and contributions in the development of the country.”
