The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Sen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni has felicitated with his His Royal Majesty, Miskoom Martin Shaldas on his enthronement as Long Goemai of Shendam.

He said His Royal Majesty, Miskoom Martin Shaldas has so far promoted ethnic unity and peace among the people of Plateau state.

In a statement made available to ViewPointNigeria yesterday, Useni described the overall father of the people of Shendam and custodian of the culture and tradition of the people of Shendam as one of the Royal fathers to be reckoned with on the plateau.

“As monday, the February 27,2017 is set out for his coronation, I join the Gomei nation as they joyfully celebrate. I am optimistic that as the Long Gomei ascend onto the throne, his wealth of experience and exposure will be put into play for the unity and progress of the people of Shendam in particular and Plateau state in general.”

“It is further hoped that his regime will have impact on the socio-economic, socio-cultural and mutual respect among the People that will be reckoned with on the plateau.”…he said
