Information available to ViewPointNigeria indicates that Prof. Sebastian Seddi Maimako (the Dean of the school of Management), has now been formally announced as the next VC.

In accepting his mandate, Prof. Maimako thanked the University governing board, the University community and President Muhammadu Buhari for according him the rare privilege to serve.

It would be recalled that up to 26 people vied for the position of vice chancellor – from within, and outside the university community.

Sebastian Maimako confirmed as University of Jos Vice Chancellor
