A university lecturer and pro-democracy activist Mr. Santos Ayuba Larab has lambasted Jonah Jang, for what he terms “causing disunity in Plateau state”. Speaking to Samson Omale on a programme this morning, Santos argued that Jonah Jang has consistently promoted disunity in Plateau and that his Government was not all inclusive. Implying that only a few choice and selected people are carried along in the exclusive Government and that if you were not in that circle then you were a mere pawn in the state affairs.

A university lecturer and pro-democracy activist Mr. Santos Ayuba Larab has lambasted Jonah Jang, for what he terms “causing disunity in Plateau state”. Speaking to Samson Omale of Silverbird FM in a programme this morning, Santos argued that Jonah Jang has consistently promoted disunity in Plateau and that his Government has not been all inclusive. Implying that only a few chosen and selected people are carried along in the exclusive Government and that if you were not in that circle then you were a mere pawn in the state affairs.

Mr. Santos comments would be received with shock to several political observers, because he was once a very close political ally of Jonah Jang in the early days of the administration, but the relationship between them appears to have gone sour, turning him into a staunch critic of the administration. Santos, went on to challenge the Governor not to manipulate the system in favour of who succeeds him in 2015. Saying that the people need to be allowed to decide on their fate as opposed to having a protege imposed upon them.

Following Santos’ tirade on the Governor, ViewPointNigeria’s correspondent reached out to one of the Government’s representative to get his view on matter. The representative, who craved annonymity, averred that Santos was a disloyal individual who lost his grand standing and as such his comments were lacking substance. He therefore dismissed the comments as an act of seeking relevance and a ploy to score cheap political points.
