In the spirit of the Eid, the vicinity of the residence of Rt. Hon. Babayo Gagdi was in agog with the outpouring of people from all parts of Kanam, stakeholders from Kanke and Pankshin including traditional rulers.
The Dan Malikin (The Great Provider) of Kanam as he is popularly called surprise the crowed as he distributes motorcycles and cars to not only his constituents (Kantana) but also the good people of Kanam

In Gagdi Babayo’s message, Giving an insight from the legislative premise, social welfare and constituency responsibilities. The legislator emphasize his desire to salvage his community from poverty if opportunity Avails itself again . his stewardship was accompanied by accolades from many present at the event.

Hon Gagdi yusuf donated a total of 3 cars (2 Toyota 406 Prestige and 1 Toyota 406) and 17 Bajaj motorcycles.
The cars were given to traditional rulers – Raan of Dugub and Sarkin Jarmai including the APC chairman candidate of Kanam, others include Five village heads who got one motorcycle each, 7 youths and 5 elders motorcycles each.

Hon Gagdi called on the beneficiaries not to give him praises but instead thank God and pray for open doors,
ViewPointNigeria learnt that so far a total of 75 motorcycles and over 30 cars was donated by the legislator as part of his empowerment efforts, but when confronted with the question of why his other colleagues in the house cannot afford same Gagdi plead that people should not use him to judge other members as this is from his personal investment.

Presenting the keys to the beneficiaries, the Deputy Speaker of PLHA Rt Hon. Saleh Yipmong appreciated Hon Babayo for his large heart and concern for the ordinary man on the street and prayed for God to replenish yusuf Gagdi’s sources. The Grand Khadi retired, who represented the Emir of Kanab also commented Babayo for the rare gesture to the entirety of the people of Kanam saying that the Kanam Emirate council is proud of his philanthropic gestures and his quest to eradicate poverty among his constituent.
Some of the people interviewed express joy with the style of this rare legislator and promise to support his ambition for Federal House of Representatives (PKK) come 2019.
