Information available to ViewPointNigeria indicates that the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Rotimi Amaechi is currently on a working visit to Plateau state.

As part of his visit, Amaechi inspected several projects including the project site of the Jos Inland Container Dry Port, Heipang which has been designated for the export of fresh and finished agricultural produce.

He also paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong at the Government house in Rayfield.

It would be recalled that Simon Lalong has had a close working relationship with Rotimi Amaechi, dating back to their time as speakers of their respective house of assemblies.

Amaechi is famously credited with bank rolling and funding much of governor Lalong’s election to the plum seat of Plateau state governor.
