REP. BAGOS COMMISSIONS PROJECTS, DISTRIBUTES SEWING MACHINES STARTER PACKS TO FASHION SCHOOL GRADUATES, DONATES SCHOOL UNIFORMS AND BOOKS, AS HE MARKS HIS 44TH BIRTHDAY.

Vwang district of Jos South LGA was in high spirits today 4th June 2021, as the member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon Dachung Bagos, Commissions some projects and empowered his constituents with business starter packs.

The projects commissioned are:

i. A road network in Chigwi community of Vwang District of Jos South Local Government of Plateau State that was initially inaccessible for over 20 years, causing the death of some residents due to its bad nature.

ii. A much-needed community town hall at Turu Vwang.

Also at the event:

iii. 40 constituents across the constituency were given one sewing machine each, having successfully completed their training at Dachong Fashion School, sponsored with hundreds of thousands by the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation.

iv. Pupils of LEA Nabatong, Jos East Local Government of Plateau State were gifted brand new school uniforms that were sown by the tailoring graduates.

v. Books were also donated to be distributed across some schools in the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Senator I D Gyang of Plateau North, who commissioned and unveiled the town hall, eulogized Rep Bagos for his laudable strides both in the green chamber and in the constituency.

He encouraged the member to keep up the good work and asked the people to uphold him and other leaders in prayer.

Hon. Yakubu Jang, son of former Governor of Plateau State, Da. Jonah Jang, who shares the same birthday year, month and date with Hon. Bagos, also graced the event and honorably commissioned the road network at Chigwi Vwang.

In his remarks, he said he is impressed with the performance of Hon. Bagos, and can attest that there are legislators who can’t achieve this much in four years.

Mr. Dali Alpha, who spoke on behalf of Mrs. Lydia Bagos, the Chief Executive Director of Bagos Foundation, congratulated the beneficiaries and wished them well in their endeavors. He encouraged them to work hard and grow big enough to also train others in the future.

The Gwom Rwei of Vwang, Da Gyang Balak, spoke passionately, expressing how proud Vwang is, due to the huge impact of Hon. Bagos in the district.

He maintained that Bagos as their son has given them reasons to boast and bask in pride. He enumerated the various ways the project would relieve the community and also serve as a source of income. He prayed for Bagos, that God’s continuous guidance and wisdom shall abide with him always.

Miss. Sauri Juliet who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed their immense gratitude to Hon. Bagos and the CEO of Chong Fashion house for their benevolence towards them. She expressed their resolve to make good use of the opportunity given to them and prayed that God will bless the foundation.

Goodwill messages were said by Hon. Esther Dusu, Hon. Fom Gwottson, Hon. Musa Agai, Hon. Davou Mang, Hon. Dantong Timothy, among other notable dignitaries.

The keys to the Hall were handed over to Gwom Turu Da Ezekiel Dalyop, who accepted it with thanks on behalf of the people.

The people kept displaying their dance steps as they chant songs of joy at the event.

On this note we celebrate Hon. Bagos and Hon Yakubu Jang as they mark their birthday. We pray for long life, good health, and prosperity.
