PULLING DOWN OF HON DACHUNG BAGOS BILL BOARDS: A DISPLAY OF INCIVILITY AND POLITICAL RASCALITY

It is said that politics is a game of interest and every citizen has the right to support and participate as stipulated constitutionally, but recent events in the political space in the country, particularly in Plateau have left many with questions begging for answers.

It is no longer news that personal interests have been given prominence as against the popular will of the people. Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos is no doubt one of those that have given governance on the Plateau and Nigeria the desired modification; he is loved by the people even beyond his constituency; he has defined governance to be about the people and not themselves; no wonder he came up with the slogan equipping the next generation.

The former Member, whose removal from the National Assembly orchestrated by selfish and self-centred individuals has caused so much pain to his constituents, has remained focused, undistracted, and poised on serving the people, but the enemies of progress will never lead him to rest. They have embarked on a spree of destruction by pulling down all his billboards that were placed at strategic locations with the aim of encouraging the people to trust in God in every situation.

While this act is condemnable, it should be noted that pulling down the billboard does not in any way reduce the love around the People’s Member.

Pulling this billboard only portrays the actors as enemies of the Plateau and its peace.

Pulling down these billboards will only confirm the evil planned against the progress of Plateau.

It should be noted that for every billboard pulled down, many more will come up.

Plateau is bigger than every individual; Plateau must succeed, and no one can cause it any setback.

While you display your lack of civility and ignorance, the Hon. Member is focusing on changing the narrative.

Indeed, in God we trust.
