Quick audit of the voters registration exercise this morning by The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), suggests that as at 11:30am – approx. 68% of polling units across the country had opened and commenced relevant processes.
Higher proportions of turn-out were observed in Northern parts of the country, compared to the South. For instance – the North Central witnessed 79% commencement of accreditation processes, North East 76%, North West 68%. Whilst in the Southern part of Nigeria, lower activity was recorded -for instance in 45% accreditation count was recorded at 11:30 am, South East 52% and South West 88%.
