Artist Profile:
Popularly known as Manji Mwan (stage and streaming platforms), but his full name is Manji Jonah Dachom.
Born in 1985, Manji Mwan is a passionate musician whose journey beautifully blends faith, discipline, and the rhythms of Reggae. Though academically trained as a pharmacist—graduating from the prestigious University of Jos in 2014—his heart has always beat to the sound of music.

Manji hails from Jiblik village in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. He is of the Mupun tribe and proudly speaks Mupun, Hausa, and English fluently. He is the son of the late Mr. Jonah Ropshak and Mrs. Tabitha Ropshak, who still resides in their hometown.
He is happily married to Mrs. Caroline Manji who is a nurse by profession, graduated from the same institution (University of Jos), and have three beautiful daughters, named Tapret, Seyilnaan, and Retna.
His musical journey began in 2005 with a humble box guitar and bass guitar, which quickly became his tools of worship. Since then, he has faithfully served as an instrumentalist in his local church band, developing a deep-rooted foundation in live performance and spiritual expression through music.
In 2022, Manji Mwan transitioned into the world of music production and recording. This culminated in the release of his debut album, Tehilah, in November 2024—an all-Reggae worship experience that resonated with listeners and marked his official entry into the music scene with live performances.
Building on that momentum, he is set to dedicate his second album on 27th July 2025, less than a year after the first—demonstrating a powerful commitment to sharing spiritually uplifting music through a genre he has made uniquely his own.

Manji Mwan continues to evolve as an artist, delivering a sound that is rooted in worship, enriched by life experience, and inspired by divine purpose.
