The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Plateau State Specialist Hospital Jos, Professor Christopher Yilgwan together with other members of the management team of the hospital on Friday 3rd October, 2023 welcomed a delegation from Niagra Healthcare Limited, a company which engages in the sales, distribution and servicing of medical equipment.
The Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mrs Talatu Nyako Angi, in a statement made available to Viewpoint Nigeria correspondent noted that they received with joy the delegation from the company which is based in Abuja.
The statement noted that NIAGRA HEALTHCARE LIMITED as part of its corporate social responsibility donated the following items to Plateau State Specialist Hospital through its representative: 5 hospital beds, 1 Phlegm suction apparatus, 1 infant weighing scale, 5 cardiology Stethoscopes, 5 Mercurial Sphygmomanometer, 1 wheel chair and 3 Instrument Trolley.
Mr Nelson Edem A. who presented the gifts on behalf of Niagara Healthcare Limited expressed the company’s willingness to continue to support the hospital considering the services the hospital is providing which are very valuable to the total well being of the people and the society at large
According to him the Company believes that the equipment provided will further strengthen the system by providing avenues for personnel to accomplish their tasks.
The CMD in a response appreciated the Management of Niagara Healthcare Limited for these timely gifts and prayed to God to continue to bless them.
Prof Yilgwan also assured Niagara Limited that he will inform H.E. Bar Caleb Mutfwang and the Commissioner for Health about this kind gesture. He further explained that Management is very happy the the donations as evident in the attendance of the Management team members to receive the gifts.
On behalf of the government and the entire people of Plateau State, the CMD then sent his appreciation and warm regards to the Management of Niagara Healthcare Limited as he continued to partner with other Organisations to reposition the hospital for better healthcare service delivery in the state for the well being of humanity.
