Candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC in the forthcoming Plateau South Senatorial bye elections Prof Nora Daddut on friday said she was overwhelmed by the massive love shown to her by the delegates and people of the Zone .

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos

“We want to thank the good people of Plateau Southern Senatorial Zone for the show of solidarity, love and support from the beginning of this journey to where we are now.”

Our sincere appreciation goes to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong the Executive Governor of our dear Plateau state for his commitment towards a greater Plateau and his love for our Senatorial Zone, his dedication and continues effort to reposition our senatorial zone is a manifestation of his desire to see that his rescue agenda is achieved across board.

We also pour out our hearts in love and appreciation to our most committed party chairman Hon. Latep Dabang who was true to his word to offer a level playing field to all aspirants in the build-up to the primaries, Mr Chairman sir, your labor of love to see that our great party stands out in the state is a reflection of your dedication towards a better and greater Plateau.

We further express our unreserved appreciation to all our traditional rulers, religious leaders, fathers and custodians of our customs and ways of life for their fatherly role towards sustenance of good governance through advice and wise counsel.

Today we want to say a big thank you to all stakeholders in our senatorial zone, we may not be able to mention names as the list is long, however, our heartfelt appreciation goes to Rt. Hon. Idris Maje the Distinguished Honorable Deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Federal Republic of Nigeria, The Distinguish Senator Nde Hezekiah Dimka Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial Zone, Hon. Dame Pauline Tallen, Hon. Komsol Longgap, the Distinguish Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ayuba Abok, All House of Assembly Members of our Distinguished Party, The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Plateau State Hon. Noel Donjur, all Commissioners and Executive Council members of the Rescue administration, all former assembly members and Commissioners, local Government Chairmen from Shendam, Qua’anpan, Mikang, Langtang North, Langtang South and Wase, Elders of our beloved party The All Progressive Congress, Party Chairmen and Excos of our Senatorial zone from the Local Government to the ward level, all distinguished Honorable members and all delegates, all Aspirants that stepped down and all that continued the race to the finish line, your labor of love to take our party to greater heights cannot be overemphasized.

The journey that we started following the sad event of the passing-on to glory of our beloved senator who worked diligently for our senatorial zone would not have been this successful if not for the dedication of our people, the good people of Southern zone, this commitment has so far translated in the support we got from delegates in the primary elections. This gesture we promise to preserve in our consolidation agenda.

Truly, in our manifesto, the people comes first and this we will work in collaboration with the masses and all relevant stakeholders and partners of development to achieve.

As we move further into the by-elections, we want to say the primary election has only given room for us to have the opportunity not to show who is better but to relate as brothers and sisters, hence, we are all victorious, to the other contestants, this is the time we have to hold our hands as a family for the good of our people, let the service continue.
