The Chief Medical Director (CMD), Plateau State Specialist Hospital (PSSH), Jos, Prof. Christopher Sabo Yilgwan on Thursday 20th March, 2024 hosted two multipurpose cooperative societies; Plateau State Specialist Hospital Multipurpose Cooperative Society and Mary Slessor Multipurpose Cooperative Society (PSSH Branch) on a courtesy call. The two cooperative societies were on the visit to congratulate Prof. Yilgwan on his appointment as Chief Medical Director of the hospital and to assure him of their cooperation in the running of the hospital. They also used the opportunity of the courtesy visit to invite the CMD to join and become a member of their cooperatives.

As part of Mary Slessor Multipurpose Cooperative Society ‘s corporate social responsibility, they donated one hundred (100) customised Bedsheets and Pillow cases to the hospital.

In a response, the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Christopher Yilgwan appreciated them for coming and also assured them that he would let His Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang know about their kind gesture of donating materials to the hospital.

He encouraged them not to hesitate in bringing up suggestions that will improve the hospital.
