In a bizarre and rather unfortunate event, another Plateau youth was picked up this morning at 2 AM at his residence by men of the DSS in Jos.

Prince Mado Mado a frequent commentator in the Plateau space was picked up from his bed and has been in detention at the DSS office in Jos.

Full details of the reason for his detention remain unclear at the time of filling this report, but our reporters are already in touch with Prince Mado Mado and will bring an update to the story shortly.

This is coming at the back of the arrest and humiliation of Hon. Emmanuel Zopmal in the last few days. Emma Zopmal has since regained his freedom.

Numerous youths in the cyber space have continued to condemn the arrest with one saying “now that it has become fashionable for politicians to pick up individuals and lock-up, who amongst us will remain if other politicians like Bagos, I D Gyang, Beni Lar, Idris Maje, Gov Simon Lalong etc all pick up their critics and lock-up. Does that mean that anyone who criticises leadership now faces a threat?

Another youth expressed immense disappointment that the youths who are being locked up are all supposedly being locked up by fellow election officers who are in their age brackets.
