APPRECIATION MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR

The Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN), Plateau Central Zone hereby express a heartfelt gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the renaming of University of Abuja to Yakubu Gowon University Abuja. This great honour done to our father and an elder statesman is not only an honour to him alone but a great gesture of recognition of his uncommon contribution and that of Plateau Central Zone to nationhood, national cohesion and integration.

It is on this premise that we in PIDAN, Plateau Central Zone are proud to identify with this great recognition and appreciate, very immensely, the honour done to our father which extends to us generally as a people. We therefore say a very big thank you to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for being sensitive enough to recognize the uncommon sacrifices made by our founding fathers since Nigeria emerged as a sovereign entity.

It is our sincere prayers and wishes that this honour and recognition will continue to spur citizens and awaken national consciousness and patriotism in them thereby helping in building very strong commitments to nationhood. Thank you and thank you Mr. President.
