Dawaki community in Kanke Local Government yesterday came out in their numbers to welcome Home Hon Barji David Bitrus the man they described as their worthy son and a true masses Ambassador at the commissioning of the one block of two classrooms and a head teacher office, built by Hon Barji David Bitrus and donated to the lungwa primary school through the Barji Hope foundation.

Hon Barji David who arrived in a triumphant entry , ushered in to the event with songs of Hope and showerings of blessings from the women , youths and the pupils of the school.

Accompanied by friends, Political associates ,and well wishers amidst cheers, Hon Barji who at a point of sighting the crowd, was moved and ran in to an emotion, because he has instructed the planning committee that he needed just a low key commissioning and dedication to Almighty God for the good things he has being doing in our lives, still the community came out in numbers to welcome the visionary leader who places so much premium on the lives and well being of a society than his personal self.

Pastor Geoffrey Shilli Yilleng led the opening prayer, there after the National Anthem to mark the commencement of the program.

The Headmistress Mrs Godiya Bugamma in her welcome Address said her mouth cannot say it all, as her tears of Joy roll. She said, sometimes ago , she made a post on Facebook , the pictures of her pupil ( school children) recieving classes on a building which is not comfortable for learning, calling on the Government and spirited individuals to intervened , lo and behold a good Samaritan Hon Barji David saw it and took upon himself to build a befitting and a favourable block for the school , and today by the special Grace of God , we are commissioning this project. He prayed Grace upon him and his endeavours.

Hon Barji David , the chairman of Barji Hope foundation who in his brief 1 minute speech , said I’m not here for politics today but I’m here to celebrate God, to celebrate the Headmistress who uses social media for social good that attracted this project from him, and to celebrate with the pupils ( the school children ) Because Hope has come. He told the garthering that if He ( Hon Barji David) can make it from a humble background , then they too can make it, he emphasise the need for proper funding of Education for in it lies any meaningful development. He said if he was not Educated ,he wouldn’t have understood the plight of the Headmistress and the pupils , and so , he bless the children and said , more and greater great men will be produce in those classes and that is why it is their responsibilities to make learning and the environment easy for them.

The chairman plateau state Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB represented by the Education Secretary of Kanke Local Government, showered encomiums and said , we have politicians and we have Good politicians, he said Hon Barji is a good politician and that people must learn to decipher between a politician and a good politician He charged the school to ensure the structure is maintained in good shape , and announced to them on the request of the Headmistress that they need more , he asked them to write officially and he promised to follow it up , he thanked Hon David Barji for his Swift and humane intervention in a time like this , and said the Education Authority are so Grateful.

The the President Pwel Development Association was visibly elated and said, truly good people exist and David Barji is a good young man with a good heart.

The PTA chairman who announced that for them , they have Graciously Nick named Hon Barji David ” Buhari of Dawaki” meaning he is the President and in him ,they have a Government. The PTA chairman and his Exco presented a gift of a white big Ram in appreciation to Hon Barji amidst cheers.

The secretary General of Ngas Development Association said if you do good , you shall see Good . He encourage the donor to continue to do as God has place in his heart ,and he will see great things the Lord has done .

Nde Ngolong Pwel, in a vote of thanks stole the show with his frankness, openness , jokes and blessings. He said Barji is a wealth creator He said, the whole school structure before the intervention of Hon Barji David, was a mud. But when he started the project , Grace set in for the school and the Government has also completed a structure for the school, an allocation of seats came in and today the Education Secretary has said, they should write officially and he will follow up to ensure another structure comes. His Royal Highness who could not hide his joy said , a good child is known when he place his hand on something , you will see Grace, you will see breakthrough and you will see open heavens , hence he described Hon Barji David as a wealth creator. That Barji has brought not only succor but Grace to the school and many good things are falling in to places for them. He told the women and warned them that the time for politics and Maggi has since gone . Now is time for someone who prepare a future for your kids and generation yet unborn . He said , Barji has earlier said , he is not here for politics today but to celebrate God goodness in the life of the pupils, but the Royal monarch said, a golden fish has no hidden place and as such though Royal father’s are not politicians but he said they have the responsibility to tell their people the truth and to make them see who means well for them and the future of their children. He said, Dawaki and Ngas Nation is bless with Rich people , Richer than the donor, but what stands him out is his heart of doing good from his personal resources. In a poser to the garthering the Royal father, asked them if Hon Barji is doing this from his pocket not with our mandate , then what if he has our mandate ??? Think about it .

Comr Zumji Jeremiah Jankanwa who spoke on behalf of Barji advocacy centre and the planning committee said, they are with Hon Barji because in him , they see not only a leader but a mentor, he said because they have learn the Act of selfless giving from him, they have taxed themselves just here at the venue and he made a token donation to the PTA to support the school.

At the commissioning , Hon Barji David, a youth philanthropist, a community builder, a man with Humanity at heart said, he is just serving God through serving Humanity ,and as a visionary leader who is seeing tomorrow today, he announced that as I have got this done to the Glory of God, I’m moving up straight to pankshin to flag off the Renovation of the dilapidated library built since during the regime of the late visionary leader and first Military Governor of Benue – plateau CP JD Gomwalk , he said 23 years ago , he used to go their and read. Sadly today the place has been abandoned to the shadow of itself . He said, the vision of our highly revered father and leader JD Gomwalk must not die , we shall protect it and use our modern age to make things work again.

The President General of Ngas Nation Nde Gonen Gofwen, represented by VP1 Nde Dr Ayuba Binshak apologize that the President could not make it due to his work at the office in Abuja , but he is with us in the spirit. He said for them as Ngas nation, in Barji they have a son and they are so please with what he is doing and they are proud of him. He encourage him not to be deterred or be discourage in doing good, he said God blesses the heart and hand that giveth and so he pray God to bless Hon Barji with good health, protection and Grace to do more. He commissioned the edifice to the Glory of God and to the betterment of our children Education and a better society and wish him well in his future endeavours.
