As a quick intervention to the environmental and health challenge posed by the heaps of refuse in the Jos and Bukuru metropolis, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong has constituted an Ad-hoc committee (TASK FORCE) to immediately identify and evacuate all refuse dumps within Jos – Bukuru Metropolis

Members of the Task Force are as follows:

1. Barr. Nankin Bagudu (Chairman)

4. Engr. Apollos Samci   (Member)
5. General Manager  Plateau State Road Maintenance Agency  (Member)
6. Dr. Steven Hirse (Member)
7. Representative of Nigerian Civil Defence Corp (Member)
8. Representative of the Ministry of Health  (Member)
9. Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment (Secretary

The Task Force is mandated to liaise with all statutory Agencies of government to ensure the successful execution of the assignment.
