Plateau state executive council has revoked the contract of the firm handling revenue collection for the state revenue service due to it’s poor performance. Attorney General of the state and commissioner of Justice Jonathan Mawiyau made this known while speaking after the weekly Executive Council meeting presided over by Gov Simon Lalong yesterday.

He said “council has approved the production of specialised seal for judges of the state Judiciary, so as to stop the frequent cases of forgery and impersonation of judges by judiciary workers “.

He further explained that the state Executive Council has also reviewed the contract for the execution of the Jos  main Market phase one development, to the tune of of two hundred and thirty million naira.
