The Governor of Plateau State, Rt Honorable Simon Bako Lalong, has issued a press release regarding the state of uncompleted projects, particularly the roads within Jos-Bukuru metropolis.

In a  statement issued by his Director, Press and Public Affairs, Mr Samuel Emmanuel Nanle, the Governor has asked the citizens of the state to bear with his government even as they make efforts to address the difficulties currently faced by commuters particularly as the raining season has  commenced. The Governor also assured citizens of the state that the ongoing consultation between the Transition Committee and contractors will be intensified to ensure immediate mobilization to site for the completion of projects.

The Governor called on all citizens of Plateau State to join hands with government in keeping their environment clean by ensuring regular sanitation and clearing out of drainage to avoid flood  as efforts are being made to ensure civil servants resume work shortly.

The Governor also directed all adhoc committees charged with the responsibility of evacuating refuse within the Jos-Bukuru metropolis to clear all refuse within the next seven (7) days and to sustain same within the next (1)one month until Statutory Agencies of government assume their full responsibility.
