The ministry of information have released the activities marking the celebration of democracy day. The honourable commissioner of information Yakubu Datti announce outline of event below ;
Activities for the 2018 Democracy Day in Plateau State commence with Special Juma’at Prayers at Jos Central Mosque on Friday 25th May 2018 while the Government House Chapel will host the Interdenominational Church Service on Sunday, 27th May.
The Democracy Day Golf Tournament holds at Lamingo Golf Club, Jos on Saturday 26th May followed by the Children’s Golf Tournament at the Government House on Sunday 28th May by 1.00pm.
Gov Simon Lalong will interract with the Members of the Press on Monday which will climax with a State broadcast on Tuesday morning by 7.00am. The Governor is scheduled to commission The Early Warning Systems Project at Operation Rainbow. The Democracy Day activities will be rounded up with a novelty football match at the Zaria road Stadium by 3.00pm.

The Governor of Plateau State, Rt Hon Simon Lalong hereby felicitates with the good people of the State as we celebrate another milestone in our democracy.
