Plateau state Governor Da Jonah Jang has restated the Government resolve towards finishing all on-going projects before the end of its tenure in 2015. The Governor was talking after inspecting on-going road projects at the Fobur-Angware road, construction of road leading to Jos University teaching hospital at Laminga, the Olympic size stadium at Goodluck Jonathan Road and the construction of new Government house at Rayfield.

Jang stated that the British America junction road project will be expanded to Farin Gada and called on all contractors handling the five kilometre roads in the seventeen local Government Areas to ensure the projects are completed by the end of the year or face sanctions. The Governor said that his administration will ensure that the state is given a makeover and bequeathed a legacy for generations.

In a related development, the Plateau State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Solomon Maren has warned contractors handling projects in Jos South LGA to live up to expectation or face sanctions. Maren, while inspecting projects in the Local Government Area said that some of the contractors were frustrating Government efforts towards providing the dividends of democracy. He wondered why some of the contractors were not showing commitment despite the fact that they have been mobilised to site.
