All Progressive Congress APC stakeholders in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State, on Tuesday endorsed the candidate of the party in the forthcoming October 31st 2020 senatorial bye election in Plateau South senatorial District, Prof. Nora Daduut .

Our correspondent reports that the stakeholders from Langtang South endorsed Prof Nora during a stakeholders meeting in the LGA .

Prof. Nora Daduut who was accompanied by the State Chairman of the APC Chief Latep Dabang and other State party Executive members, the Director General of the APC campaign in the zone Sen. Victor Lar, Chairman Mikang LGA Hon. Ezekiel Vuelgap,Hon. Yakubu Dati commissioner for lands and survey,Hon Victor Lapang commissioner for Youths and sports development, Commissioner for Housing Hon. Barr. Rimven Zulfa, amongst other high profile individuals of Langtang North and from the southern zone .

Our correspondent further reports that Prof. Nora Daduut and her entourage was received amidst cheers and warm welcome as youths and women came out in their numbers carrying placards endorsing the candidature of Prof. Daduut

Commissioner for Housing in the state Hon Zulfa Rimven who spoke to our correspondent said the party would work to ensure victory for the Prof Nora at the polls .

He said he is confident that the Party would win the Senatorial elections

Zulfa stressed that the APC Candidate Professor Nora Daduut has all the qualities it takes to represent the Zone at the Red chambers of the National Assembly.

It would be recalled INEC has fixed 31st October, 2020 following the demised of Plateau South Senator late Ignatius Longjan in February, 2020.

He added that Plateau South is the stronghold of APC and the electorates are aware of the achievement of Governor Simon Lalong led administration in the state.

Plateau South is the home of the APC. If you have been following the political trend, you will know that we are comfortably at home there.

“I do not see how anybody or any political party will dream of displacing us in that area.

“That is the zone that produced the governor, minister, Deputy Speaker of the House of the Representatives and many others. I don’t see us loosing that election for any reason,” he said.

He declared that the party was united and ready for the election.

Rimven assured Prof. Nora Daduut and the APC of their renewed loyalty and support.
