PEOPLES Democratic Party in Plateau State has challenged All Progressive Congress led government in the state to give account of over N257 billion collected from the federation account in the past two years.

Even as the State Government described the position of the PDP as mischief and plan to rubbish achievements of the APC led government on the Plateau.

“APC should tell us how it judiciously utilized the over 257 billion Naira collected from the federation account as subvention so far. If you add this together it will give you 415 billion Naira. This is the amount so far collected by this APC led government – and yet nothing to show for it.”

The PDP in a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr John Akans, implored the people of Plateau State not to give up hope and exercise patience adding that the four years journey is less than two years to go.

”Now the PDP is well redefined, well prepared and well-focused with qualified leadership and political experience to give our people their well-deserved democratic dividend. With this experience our mission is simple.

“Come 2019 we are well prepared to transform Plateau State into a hub of developmental innovation – not as the lips stick praises of this fake rescue team who are still daydreaming!”

In his reaction, the Special Adviser on Media to the governor, Mr Daniel Manjang, said PDP is simply delving into conjecture and triviality that will not help the Party adding that the allegation has no basis and shows that PDP in Plateau State is confused and want to make itself relevant.
