Plateau indigenes in Abuja call for expansion of the state media to cover Abuja for enhanced communication.

President plateau state indigenes Development association in Abuja and environs kyauta Damulak has tasked the captain of the Rescue administration and Governor of plateau  Simon Lalong to deliberately  ensure the  Plateau Radio Television Corporation  extends its reach to cover the federal capital Territory Abuja, and  environs.

This is because it ranks among the best media organisations among its peers. Our correspondent reports the leadership of the state indigenous association in Abuja and that of “one plateau unity Forum” disclosed this while addressing newsmen on their expectations of the next dispensation of Governor Simon Lalong after emerging victorious in the  just concluded twenty nineteen general elections.

Kyauta Damulak said that Plateau Radio Television Corporation Jos is their reliable means of keeping in touch with the home front especially, those of them who are away from the state. He  noted that by so doing, it will bring them closer and keep them in touch With government and its activities thereby erasing misconceptions.

He implored Governor Lalong to consolidate on the relative peace the state is experiencing at the moment.On his part, president “one plateau unity forum” Engineer Arum Ajiji observed that Governor Simon Lalong is seen as the first Governor in this democratic dispensation that has not attempted retrenching civil servants as was in the preceding administration.
