The Plateau State Government has concluded plans to immortalise the late former Chief Judge of the state George Uloko, who died earlier this month, after years of battle with cancer.
This was made known by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barr Jonathan Mawiyau who represented Governor Simon Lalong at the condolence visit paid to the family of the deceased by Judges of Plateau origin in their Gwarinpa Abuja family home yesterday.
In his condolence message, the governor expressed shock over the demise of Justice Uloko, who he said, “moulded us all”.
“The news of the death of the former chief judge came to me as a great shock, as it has created a big vacuum in the judiciary system of the state, irrespective of the fact that he is retired.
