The family members of a kidnapped 10yrs old little girl are seeking for justice against a gang of six kidnappers who are already in police custody. The family spokesman stated this while saluting the doggedness of the Special Task Force, STF who helps in tracking down and arresting the kidnappers including the family guard.

According to the family spokesman on February 16 the kidnappers stormed his elder brother house at Rafiki around Dong of His South LGC with AK47 and matchetes and took away the 10yrs old girl collecting N231,000 from the family.

The family spokesman stated that the N231 ,000 was meant to be lodged in the bank the next day but the assailants who plainly declared they were not armed robbers but kidnappers collected the money at gun point.

He further narrated that the kidnappers five in number took the little girl away and later the next day at. 3:00am contacted the family and demanded the ransom of N10 million which they threatened to kill the little girl if their demands are not made.

But after continuous negotiation with the kidnappers they insisted on N1.5 million which took the spirited of family, friends and the body of Christ to raised the sum.

But the amazing thing about this whole episode is from the house CCTV footage we were able to establish some suspicious behavior from the family guard which we quickly invited the STF operative who arrested the family guard and upon interrogation he confessed to the crime which he said he was promised the sum of 300,000 from the proceed. His confession led to the arrest of the five kidnappers who surprisingly were Fulani boys.

When we were invited in the course of the investigation we were able to identify the kidnappers especially the one who had carried the AK47 rifle he affirmed.

The family spokesman called on the police to ensure that the kidnappers are prosecuted and punished for their act of wickedness to serve as detoriant to others. When contacted the police public relations officer confirm the custody of the kidnappers and pledge their eventual prosecution. He further stated that since they are already at the CID more investigation are being carried out on the incident and assures that they will face the full wrath of the law.
