To draw international attention to the genocide happening in Plateau state, the citizen of Plateau domiciled in the USA staged a protest at various embassies and consulates across the US.

The protest which happened on Friday 13th July 2018, in Washington DC, Atlanta and New York, condemned the ethnic cleansing and called on the international community to come to the aid of the helpless citizens of Plateau by putting pressure on relevant Nigerian authorities etc.

On hand to cover the protest were several media organisations including the Voice of America (VOA) and other bodies.

In the same light, Plateau citizens in South Africa have slated Friday 20th July 2018 as the day of protest at the Nigerian Embassy in Pretoria.

It will be recalled, that Plateau citizens in the UK (both in London and Manchester) protested last Friday 6th July 2018 at the Nigerian High Commission London, Manchester City Centre and 10 Downing Street (the UK Prime minister’s office).
