Abuja – The Plateau State Council of Chiefs has commended Minister of Water Resources, Sarah Reng Ochekpe, for providing free medical services to less privilege people in the state.

A letter of appreciation to the minister, signed by the Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, extended the traditional leaders’appreciation.

Buba said that the free medical services Opcheke provided had addressed most of the health challenges of the less-privileged citizens in the state.

Buba said that the free medical services Opcheke provided had addressed most of the health challenges of the less-privileged citizens in the state.

“The Plateau State Council of Chiefs has noted with delight your philanthropic gesture of providing free medical services to the teeming citizens of Plateau State in the three Senatorial Zones which service has greatly addressed most of the health challenges of the people particularly, the less privileged citizens who otherwise could not avail themselves of such medical services,” read the letter.

Buba said that the council had observed with keen interest the performance of the minister since her appointment, which they noted had uplifted the standard of life of the good people of Plateau State and the country in general.

He added that the Plateau State Council of Chiefs prayed to God to continue to grant the minister wisdom to impact positively on the society as the key driver of the Transformation Agenda of the present administration.
