While providing further explanation, the chairman of the group, Mr. Alpha John Dakwak was appreciative of the gesture by the president because according to him, the president’s appointment of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe is a positive response to an earlier query by the Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN) at the state level for the prompt replacement of the vacant space which belongs to Plateau state as a matter of constitutional right. He revealed that PIDAN at the state level has conveyed a letter to Mr. President to appreciate him for heeding the call to replace the vacant position for the fair representation of Plateau state which has been shortchanged for a reasonable period of time.
