Plateau CAN Challenge Security agencies to be fair and just in discharging their responsibilities

Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Plateau State Chapter has charged the security agencies in the state to be fair and just in mitigating the rising spade of attacks in Bassa, Riyom and other parts of Plateau State

CAN Chairman Plateau State Very Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo stated this when he received on courtesy visit the General officer third division Nigerian Army and newly appointmented Commander Operation Safe Haven, Jos Major General Ibrahim Ali at the CAN Secretariat Jos South local government.

Lubo noted with dismay the unabated attacks on innocent and law abiding citizens as a set back to the peace process in the state.

He stressed that the unfortunate incident is unacceptable and called on the commanding officer to swiftly mobilize his men to forestall the ugly trend.

Earlier, the GOC and Commander Operation safe Haven, Jos Major General Ibrahim Ali said his visit is aimed at soliciting for spiritual blessings towards achieving his operational mandate of ensuring lasting peace on the state and environs.
