Plateau State House of Assembly has made a threat to summon anyone found it finds guilty of misappropriating funds of the state. Hon Gondina Sambo who is the member representing Pengana constituency and also the assembly minority whip stated so in Jos.

The member who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts and Petitions vowed to invite anybody including Governor Jonah Jang and his cabinet if they were found to be involved in misappropriation of state funds.

Sambo said that the state legislature has got no option other than to embark on thorough investigation of everyone whose name is mention in the course of their findings.

He said: “We will implement all the necessary disciplinary measures in dealing with the investigation on SURE-P funds allegation against Governor Jonah David Jang and the state House of Assembly would take proactive measure toward tackling it with utmost respect.
