Hon. Rufus Bature, though not born with silver spoon in his mouth, has attained lofty heights by dint of hard work and determination.

A very calculative and deft political icon, Hon. Rufus Bature does not follow the crowd for immediate benefits but believes in building relationships that are long lasting.

This explains why he won elections twice to the Plateau State House of Assembly, both under opposition parties
His legislative prowess stood him out as one of the best parliamentarians of his time based on his contributions on the floor of the hallowed Chamber during his tenure in the Plateau State House of Assembly between 1999 and 2007.

His opting for the little unknown APC whish in Plateau state then was a fight between David and Goliath, led the party to resounding victory with him as the Director General of the Lalong/Tyoden Campaign Council.

He proved his administrative wizardry as the Secretary to the Government State (SGS) when the Rescue Administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong changed remarkably the narrative of governance where relative peace was restored in the state.
As our ìconic and goal getter Chairman marks this very momentous occasion of his life, the entire APC structures and family in the state join him in celebrating the moment with grateful hearts.
