Acting Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Plateau state Hon Enoch Fanmak ,on Tuesday said he would continue to work to take the party to greater heights .

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) is the dominant party in Plateau and is waxing stronger daily ” he further added .

Fanmak made this known in his speech when the Mbap clan of Tarok land and other groups paid him a courtesy call in his office in Jos .

He called on the people of his clan and Tarok land to support the party at all times .

In his words ” I am honored that people of my clan paid me this courtesy call , my appointment as acting chairman of APC in Plateau is divine , i would want to use this opportunity to thank Governor Simon Lalong for finding me worthy to occupy this position .”

“I therefore, urge every member of our party to join hands and move it forward,” he said.

He said he should focus on the party’s unity in order to provide a good democratic platform for the people.

Fanmak further said that the party under his watch would provide a level playing ground for all ,i would always operate an open door policy ,i want to work and put my name in gold .

The APC chairman further added that the people of Plateau are 100 percent with the APC because of the good works the state Governor Simon Lalong is doing .

In his words “Our Governor has done well in providing dividends of democracy to the people of the state .

“Our Lalong is a blessing to the state,he has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt his love and commitment towards a united and prosperous Plateau .”

“I call on people of the state to continue to support the APC at all times .”

Speaking earlier the President of Mbap clan of Tarok man Rev Dr Stephen Yarkum expressed appreciation on the emergency of one of them as APC chairman .

We thank our Governor Simon Lalong for finding one of us worthy of acting chairman of the APC in Plateau .

Yarkum called on him to work to move the party forward .

” I pray that God would continue to guide you and give you the strength to work for the good of the party ” .

The President of Mbap clan Rev Dr Stephen further called on the acting chairman to be prayerful at all times .
