Dates for the Jos Carnival (and its supporting activities), which was serially moved because of a myriad of issues and challenges appears to have finally been locked for 1st – 13th May 2018.
Confirming this, the commissioner of Tourism, Mrs Tamwakat Weli said the carnival and its associated village promises to be a massive improvement on last year, and will offer temporary employment to artisan youths who will be engaged to provide services during the carnival weeks.
The carnival will be a display of Plateau culture and heritage – bringing together ethnic groups from all 17 local government councils of the state.
