Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN), Plateau central zone yesterday 22nd December, 2024 paid a courtesy visit to Diket Plang, the distinguished senator representing Plateau central senatorial district in his residence in Jos. The group which represents the ethnic nationalities in Plateau central zone was led by its chairman Da. Alpha J. Dakwak.
In his address the chairman said the visit was to identify with the senator and to appreciate him for achievements made so far particularly the bill sponsored for the establishment of Federal University of Mining and Geo-Sciences in Jos, Plateau state. The chairman added that when established, the benefits are going to be enormous not only for the people of Plateau state but the country in general. He assured the senator of the readiness and commitment of the group to collaborate with him and give the needed support in all his developmental strides.
In a response, the esteemed senator commended PIDAN and conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and wholeheartedly pledged to continue to represent his people well and collaborate with any group that will contribute to the development of Plateau central senatorial district. He stressed that he is interested in working closely with PIDAN and other stakeholders in meeting the needs of the people of the zone.
