The bomb that went off today in a crowded motor park in Nyanya Abuja this morning while commuters were headed into work, has wreaked great havoc and left a trail of death. Currently, over 70 people have been reported to have died with several others said to have sustained injuries of various degrees. 

Below are selected pictures of the carnage visited on innocent Nigerian. At the time of filing this report, no group had claimed responsibility for the attacks and the site of the blast had been taken over by military and paramilitary agencies. 

This would be seen as a massive blow to Government’s efforts to secure the lives of Nigerians and would become a hot topic of debate at the ongoing National Conference where delegates have been barred from debating the terms of association for the Nigerian state.
