The Federal Government has appointed a new Comptroller-general for the Immigration service. This followed a major shake-up in the service that led to the retirement of the seven Deputy Comptroller-Generals.

Mr David Paradang who hails from Plateau State was the Assistant Comptroller-General in charge of State Coordination at the Immigration Headquarters in Abuja before his elevation.
