Today, the All-Progressive Congress (APC) in Pankshin South held a grand celebration to welcome Ezra Dakup and his supporters into their fold. Hon. Ezra Dakup, a former Member in the Plateau State` House of Assembly representing, Pankshin South, had previously affiliated with the Labour Party (LP) in the last political dispensation; however, he has now reestablished his connection with the APC, accompanied by about 8,000 supporters.
The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Hon. Denty Laven, Hon. David Daser (DG DBI), Elder Mizim, Comrade Nanle Gujor, the Assistant Secretary of APC Plateau State, and Comrade Wumana Bako, the APC State Assistant Financial Secretary, along with elders and youths from the APC in Pankshin South.
Hon. Ezra Dakup was warmly received by the APC Ward Chairman of Longbam Ward and the APC Chairman of Pankshin, who subsequently introduced him to the state leadership through the State Assistant Secretary, Comrade Wumana Bako.
While addressing the large crowd of supporters and APC members, Hon. Ezra Dakup declared, “I am back to the APC; we are looking forward to better days ahead, and it will be marvelous." Hon. Ezra also mentioned that he is joining the party with approximately 8,000 of his supporters. many political gladiators are optimistic that Pankshin South will witness mass defection
