News reaching ViewPointNigeria indicates that over 50 suspicious youths were on Thursday arrested in Jos by the Special Task Force (STF). The youths who were arrested in Babale village of Jos were said to be travelling in three 18-seater transit bus.

Report says the youths who were led by a woman claimed to be from Maiduguri and were heading to Abuja on the order of a Borno State Government official. The youths added that they were going to attend an economic empowerment programme.

The STF said that calls to the said official were not answered and that investigation is ongoing to determine the true identity of the youths and their said mission.
