Opinion: There was a JUTH – By Enoch Vilret John

This short piece is a passionate and clarion call to the House of Reps. Members, Senate Members, House of Assembly members Plateau Stakeholders, and indeed Plateau Citizens.
These People were chanting and clamouring for a better plateau in 2015. Now the cat has been let out of the bag. The reality is that, what they were saying was self-serving and meant to protect their mundane interests, I believe they were all doing that for their selfish interest. They don’t care if plateau state fails or succeeds. I remember there was a Jos University Teaching Hospital and was one of the best in Nigeria . Regrettably, JUTH has now become a shadow of itself. Almost or more than Ten times, JUTH staff were on strike . Prof. Banwat has now become and emperor turning JUTH to what he wants and nobody is saying anything to him,. Imagine Gombe ,Bauchi etc have Teaching hospital and Federal medical Centers but plateau has only one and is a teaching hospital. We careless about it. Now its nothing compared to functional and sound health systems obtain in other regions “haba” Plateau . Where are our Reps Members , House of Assembly Members, Senate Members, Stakeholders, and Citizens????? Please wake up from your sleep and slumber.
