A group known as the Forum of the Switzerland-based Centre for Human Development has called on Plateau residents to be on alert following the recent Nyanya bomb blast in which scores of people were killed and many others injured.

The group stated that there could be a spill over effect in Plateau and warned to be cautious of their movements and avoid crowded places. It called on residents to look out for strange people and movements within their localities.

Switzerland-based Centre for Human Development with headquarters in Geneva and African regional office in Nairobi conducted inter communal dialogue and conflict mediation among the ethnic nationalities in Plateau with much emphasis on Jos North, Jos South, Barkin Ladi, and Riyom LGAs as a result of the consistent attacks and violence.
