The Eyewei 5th of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayesla State has felicitated with Nigerians over the country’s 64th Independence Day Celebration. In a statement in Yenagoa, the Bayesla State Capital, the Monarch empathized with Nigerians over current economic hardship while urging them to keep hope alive against the odds.
He hailed the resilience of Nigerians so far, while urging the Federal Government to do the needful in reducing the hardship Nigerians are facing. The Southern Monarch called for an assessment of the impact of economic policies with the view to soothing the negative impacts on the citizens which has led to hike in prices of good and services.
HRH Dr Selky expressed optimism that Nigerians will celebrate soon, while calling for prayers for wisdom among the elites to ensure that interventions come quickly because Nigerians are going through a lot.
