Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC in Plateau Letep Dabang has congratulated the people of Plateau State and all Nigerians as the nation marks 60 years of independence as a sovereign nation.

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos .

It reads that i congratulate and celebrate our President, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Rt Hon. Dr Simon Bako Lalong, members of the National Assembly, members of the state House of Assembly, APC family Plateau State, Local Government Council Chairmen with their respective legislative arm and Plateau State citizens on the occasion of independence day celebration..

We clock 60 today, a day to celebrate 60 years of Liberation, Unity, Progress and Peace as a nation. We may not be where we want to be as a nation, but we must count our blessings, celebrate and appreciate God for bringing us thus far…

I heartily celebrate our founding fathers who shed their blood and fought tirelessly for the freedom of our great nation… I must commend, celebrate and appreciate us all for the show of love towards one another. We have uphold and sustained the values that binds us together as one nation in patience, love and equity. Indeed, we are a great nation and we will surely attain our goals sooner..

In the spirit of the day, may we continue to spread love, togetherness, unity and freedom.

Feel the pride of being a citizen of our glorious nation, I’m Inspired to celebrate the bravery of our fathers and their gift of freedom to us as a Nation.
