News reaching ViewPointNigeria suggests that the Plateau State Government yesterday dispelled rumours of the death of Ngolong Ngas, the paramount ruler of Ngas people of Pankshin and Kanke local government areas.

Speaking, the Chairman of Pankshin LG, Mr. Samuel Goar, said: “I want to officially announce to the world that Nde Joshua Dimlong, the paramount ruler of the Ngas people in Pankshin and Kanke local governments of Plateau, is not dead but recuperating well at the Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos” he said.

He confirmed that the paramount ruler was ill in the last two weeks and that arrangements have already been finalised by the state government to fly him overseas for further treatment.
