The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Plateau has confirmed that the new Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mallam Husaini Halilu Pai has officially assumed duty.

A statement signed by the deputy director, voter education and publicity in the state, Mr Osaretin Imahiyereobo, said Pai is an educationist a seasoned administrator and that he was one of two commissioners who served in Prof. Attahiru Jega’s led INEC.
