NBA JOS BRANCH SWEARS IN NEW EXCO

The Nigerian Bar Association ( NBA) Jos Branch popularly known and reffered to as the METROPOLITAN BAR have elected and sworn in new officers that would pilot the affairs of the Branch for the next 2 years effective from Monday 29 June 2020.


While swearing in the new officers, the Chief Judge of Plateau State Hon. Justice Yakubu Dakwak congratulated the new Exco and urge them to work hard to deliver on the mandate given to them. He re- emphasized the need for the Bar and Bench to work together. He equally encourage the new bar leaders to work towards promoting the rule of law as it is the only panecia for development.

  8. Pwakusari Rotshak Gotip Esq.—–Financial Secretary
  9. Anne Chinasa Mpamah Esq.—— Legal Adviser
  10. Leah Dagung Hassan Esq.—-NEC Representative
  11. Gomwalk Mambul Umaru Esq —– Provost
    In a brief speech, Y.S Bawa the NBA Chairman once again appreciated colleagues for their confidence in him, he recounted the achievements of the imediate past Branch administration and promise to build on the gains so far made. He equally assured colleagues that under his watch, NBA will promote the Rule of Law, and fight against the emerging trend of human rights abuse and Rape.
