Leadership of the National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS) National Body on Tuesday applauded the choice of Nyak as the location of the permanent site of the Federal polytechnic in Shendam .

National body of Plateau students in a statement signed by Dungs David Danjuma ,its National President and made available to newsmen in Jos said it wishes to commend the federal Government once more for the approval of the establishment of a federal polytechnic on the plateau to be cited in Shendam, the leadership of NAPSS National Body also endorse the Choice of Nyak which was earlier visited by the Visitation team as a very suitable and conducive environment which will give room for educational activities to thrive successfully.

The leadership of NAPSS National Body is hereby calling on the government towards the quick funding of the institution so as to enable the commencement of educational activities within the shortest possible period of time.

They also also commend His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Gov. Simon Bako Lalong_ for his steady support to the educational sector in General.

“We are really grateful to FG for finding Shendam Local Government of Plateau State worthy of this wonderful development which will further help to impact positively on the lives of Nigerians.
